My Mother and I stepped into The Conservatory at Plano and immediately felt embraced by this lovely facility. Marjorie, Michael, Hillary, Mia and Ansor and all the other staff members bring a congenial loving atmosphere. During our initial tour we not only saw how well maintained and beautiful the property is but had a wonderfully delicious dining experience. We met several residents, some who had been there for many years. The overall experience of The Conservatory is unbeatable. The apartments are fantastic; spacious with updated appliances and granite counters. The amenities available such as the outdoor pool, billiards, game rooms, sewing room, and too many activities to name were only some of the reasons for Mom‘s decision to move into The Conservatory over other choices. After many months of living there, she is just as happy with the facility today as she were the first day we saw the place! There is never a missed opportunity by staff to facilitate a happy warm, welcoming environment for all who live there.

After knowing this community for several years, I have nothing but amazing things to say about this community. They are very active with their seniors and they have amazing events that keep them on their toes. I am happy to say that I would highly recommend anyone’s loved one to stay in this community as they will be well care for socially physically, and Spiritually. Working with the sales team is always a blessing. Marjarie always takes so much care of the residence in her communities.

Beautiful community. My clients that move to the Conservatory love the people and their apartment and the dining is fabulous. As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist it is important to me and my clients that I tour communities and get to know the staff. I want my clients and their families to be confident when making a choice in senior living. Kudos to Marjorie, Janet and Shequila for taking great care of my clients at the Conservatory!

Margerie Fulmer at the Conservatory was instrumental in my decision to make the move. Having visited and researched a multitude of options, I was most impressed by the quality, style, and friendliness of the Conservatory staff and facility. I find the facility to be comfortable, congenial, accommodating, and safe.

Needed a place to get my mom into quickly, as she was moving to the area from out of state to be closer to me due to health concerns. Had visited several other senior living places in the area, and thankfully, came across this "on accident", just by driving by. As soon as I entered the facility, I knew this would be her home. Met with Marjorie (who was fantastic). She took us on a tour and assured me that she would find a great unit for my mom, which she did. Everything was wrapped up in about 36 hours. Months later, my mom is settled in, with a "wonderful" apartment that she loves to tell everyone about. Her welcome was so warm, by so many. She has made plentiful friends, and remains active with all of the things there are to do there, from card groups to exercise classes to church service. And happy hour of course. The peace of mind that I have, knowing that I did not just "stick her someplace", is priceless. My kids visit her there, and tell me that it makes them HAPPY...not a feeling I remember having when I visited my grandparents in their senior community. Every time I give my mom's address, or tell someone where she lives, I get the same response: "oh, I have heard that place is great". And it truly is. I would encourage anyone looking for a senior community to go visit as many places as you can, and then come here. You will see the difference.

The Conservatory at Plano stands out as an exceptional community for active seniors. The staff are and warm and kind, and Margie, in particular, goes above and beyond to ensure potential residents feel supported, valued and get all the answers they’re looking for. The residence is vibrant, well-maintained, and beautiful inside and out! If you’re considering active senior living this place should absolutely be on your list.

Our 82-year-old mother has lived at The Conservatory at Plano for 6 months and she loves it. She is a retired home health nurse administrator and knew what she liked and didn’t like when we researched and toured communities. The Conservatory at Plano is large and has so much choice in activity and engagement. She has made so many friends and enjoying so many different types of social activities. The various games are her favorite. I visit once per week and see first-hand how many people know her and that nobody is treated like a stranger- everyone greets one another. She is thriving and maintaining her independence because of the normal meal routines, inhouse salon, and social engagements. The cleaning, maintenance, and dining staff are so supportive and loved by all.

My mother has been at the Conservatory Plano for just over a year now and absolutely loves it. The staff, amenities, and residents make it into a comfortable home for her. I can't say enough about Michael Collins the executive director and Marjorie Fulmer the lifestyle counselor, that have done everything imaginable to make my mother welcome and comfortable. It's obvious that the staff at the Conservatory truly care about the residents comfort and well-being. Thank you for all that you do.Sincerely,Ken Pysz

Conservatory at Plano has been my home for over two years. It is such a beautiful place with so many friendly people and staff. We have so many opportunities to do things that have been planned for the community that you can be kept busy if that is what you want. I can’t say enough good about the maid service I have. This is my home and I plan on sticking around.

I visited The Conservatory at Plano. The beautiful water features at the entrance make this community feel so elegant. They had good sized apartments with patios. The models really helped give me ideas. They were having happy hour and the residents were so welcoming! The dining room was open and the meals looked so good. Very nice!!

Our family loved our tour of the Plano Conservatory with Shaquila. It’s a perfect place for mom! We especially love the fun events, gorgeous grounds, cool care technology, and dining room. Mom will enjoy the happy hours, movies, dance and fitness classes, onsite medical care, salon, and Occupational Therapy. We are relieved to entrust her with the help of falling alert bracelets, safety door technology, and in room medicine appointments to keep extra eyes on her if needed. Her apartment is well located, modern, and lovely. We are all so excited for her to move in next week and start enjoying #CruiseShipLiving! We are so grateful we found this special senior community.

Great staff! Offers a lot of activities for the residents, includes fitness and public transportation as well. Management really listens to any concerns within the community. The leasing team (Shequila, Marjorie) is also very helpful in assisting new resident move ins and are very knowledgeable about the community.

I have just celebrated my third year at the Conservatory at Plano. I say celebrated because I am so happy and pleased with everything that is offered. Shequila Holt was my guide when I came to view the property. She completely understood what I was looking for and she found the perfect apartment for me, I love it more every day.It felt like home from the first night I was here. The management and staff are very nice and completely accessible to help in anyway. The social opportunities are enormous: happy hour three times a week; beautiful pool (I feel like I’m at a resort); bridge; poker; crafts … I could go on forever. I’ve always been treated like a friend whether or not it is someone I know, or being greeted in the hall or dining room.If you’re looking for the perfect Independent Senior Living, you will find it at the Conservatory at Plano.A very happy resident,~ Debbie ~

I toured 9 different facilities before deciding on The Conservatory at Plano for my in laws. Shequila was very professional communicating about what they have to offer, easy to work with and was quick to respond to any questions. The facility is very clean, well kept and the apartment we chose is the perfect size with nice closet space for 2 people. The staff and residents have been so friendly and welcoming. The onsite exercise facility and PT services have already been very helpful. The Conservatory has so much to offer those living independently yet no longer driving. There are many weekly activities and the driver is available to take them to appointments or shopping trips if family members are not available, as long as you book 24 hours or longer ahead of time.

I recently moved my mother into The Conservatory in Plano. She had been living in a senior center in Colorado Springs but decided she wanted to live closer to family so I began the process of visiting numerous senior centers in Plano, Dallas, and Carrollton (I had gone through the same extensive search in Colorado Springs about 5 years earlier when we moved her from her single-family home into senior living).I believe I looked at 8 different facilities in the area and just loved The Conservatory. All the staff and administration are incredible friendly but the most impressive feature is that all the residents that you see (and there are so many buzzing through the halls and involved in activities) seem so happy to be there. Smiles everywhere! After my initial visit I probably went back 5-6 more times to relook just to make sure I was making the right choice and I just have to give a special shout out to Marjorie Fulmer. This woman is patient beyond belief with all the questions from me, all the questions from my mom, all the times my mom waffled about whether or not she wanted to move, when she wanted to move and on and on. Marjorie was understanding, flexible, and always on the lookout for the right space to accommodate my mom's shifting wants and desires. She was always looking out for us and got us exactly what mom wanted. To this point in time I could not be happier and I have no doubts that this is going to be the right fit for mom!

We toured several places before deciding The Conservatory would be the best fit for our parents. It has been a great place for them - the staff is very helpful and kind. Shequila was very patient and helped us secure a good apartment for them. They have great amenities - my father has even been able to do physical therapy right there on site. Our parents have made new friends and really enjoy living there. We feel that they are safe and have lots of activities they can participate in. We're very happy we chose The Conservatory!

The Conservatory at Plano was warm and welcoming as we brought my mother in law for a tour. Shequila Holt was so patience and kind. She took the time to answer all our questions and has continued to follow up as we go through this transition. The building and residential units were well maintained and the amenities provided to residents was well thought out. I recommend the Conservatory of Plano be on your consideration list.

My dad and I toured a few places to get a feel for what independent living was like and how much it would cost. He waited about 6 months before asking to go back to two places for second visits. Both times Shequila took time to show us around and answer all our questions. The move was easy and he adjusted quickly and enjoys going to the dining room and eating with other people everyday. We are both very pleased with The Conservatory and their staff. They really care about and get to know each and every resident.

Leaving a home of 43 years is not easy. I helped my parents tour places and make a decision for their next home. I thought this was going to be tough for my parents, but the transition went better than expected. Shequila not only took us on a tour several times, but also helped us navigate this change. She was so patient and helpful. I was grateful to her for helping my parents see the exciting possibilities of moving to the Conservatory. Michael, the executive director goes beyond his job. He is personable and kind to the residents. On the first day, we were having trouble with the TV. He immediately came to the apartment to see if he could help.Once they moved in, the other residence were friendly and welcoming. My parents made many new friends right away. They keep busy with the different activities that are offered: games, movies, singing entertainment, happy hour (their favorite), exercise classes, volunteering in the store and water aerobics just to name a few. I am so happy my parents have a place they can truly call home.If you or your parents are looking for the next place, I would HIGHLY recommend The Conservatory Of Plano!

My stay here at Conservatory of Plano has been the best. I have lived here over a year. I tell anyone who asked that I am living the dream. The staff is so accommodating, friendly, and cheerful. There is always some activity going on, and lots of things that are entertaining. We are encouraged to participate in lots of things. I especially enjoy line dancing twice a week. Its great exercise, which is great! Also, the food is exceptional. Lots of variety, never boring, three meals a day. It didn't take me long to feel right at home..its easy to make friends.

Thank you to Shequila Holt and all the staff at The Conservatory Plano for the welcoming tour and visit with my parents last week. From the time set aside to visit and discuss questions, to the tour of the facility, to allowing us to stay and talk with residents during happy hour and dinner, each step was gracious, non threatening, and reflected what I believe to be the culture at The Conservatory which is supportive and an extension of family. The activities and amenities are wonderful but it's the residents that make TC special. Thank you!

My parents moved into the Conservatory a year ago from their home of many years. They choose the Conservatory over several other proprerties for its beautiful facilities, floorplans, food & activities. In addition, they had several friends already living there. While any property can look great on a tour, where the Conservatory has really stood out is in the staff -especially executive director Michael Collins. He has gone far above and beyond expectations in making them feel at home. We have been so pleased with their experience and can highly recommend the Conservatory at Plano.

When my mom made the decision to downsize and sell the home her and my dad had lived in for 40 years, it was an emotional and difficult decision. It was also the first big decision she had made without him in over 50 years. We lost our dad in 2021 and it has been so incredibly difficult for our whole family, but of course, for my mom most of all.We toured The Conservatory and right away, we just knew. Shequila was absolutely incredible. She is so warm, welcoming and put my mom at ease instantly. She is so prompt in communications and was there every step of the way. I know she will continue to be there to help with anything needed and the support given....it makes all the difference. The whole staff at The Conservatory have been beyond fantastic. The Conservatory is beautiful. It truly does feel like a luxury hotel. The residents have been so kind, friendly and are going out of their way to make my mom feel welcomed and at home. She just moved in and I know that once she is adjusted, she will absolutely feel she has made the best decision.I am one of 5 children and each of us are just thrilled with The Conservatory. We could not be happier!!

This is the third Senior Residence that I have lived in, and I am truly pleased. The facilities are very attractive and the management personnel are top-notch. Manager is always a step ahead of residence needs and “stays visible!”When there have been unexpected weather challenges management had solutions.On-site professional services for private assistance help meet unexpected care needs, this includes physical therapy services available.Gym has a full-time professional trainer and so many options for all levels of physical activity. The dining services offer table services, take-out, and private Room Service on request. Menu options are varied and creative. My apartment is perfect for my needs. Higher ceilings, attractive woodwork and flooring create a calm and comfortable home.We all enjoy the quick response to any maintenance needs! Skilled staff keeps our lovely building in good condition. Multiple, well placed elevators bring residents close to major areas of activity. There are many other value-added services at The Conservatory. I hardily recommend being “at Home” in The Conservatory!

Bobbie Rosenbloom2023 has been one of the best years of my life. This is the year that I found happiness and a feeling of well being. All this, I attribute to living at the Conservatory Independent Living Community. This place is unbelievable; the staff is very caring, and all aim to please. The activities are enriching, and enjoyable. It has been said that it is like living at a country club. The amenities are too many to mention. When I first arrived at the Conservatory, I was depressed, and unenergetic. My daughter was very concerned about me. She thought I needed an assisted living facility. When I requested to view the property, my daughterasked for a wheelchair. My daughter, Debra, reluctantly permitted me to sign the lease. Of course, everything about the Conservatory was perfect. Debra’s only concern was my inability to cope in an independent living environment. She insisted that I buy a scooter to get around. She was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get to the dining room. Well, after living here for a period of time, I proved my daughter wrong. Not only was I able to get around without a scooter, I was able to attend all activities, and excursions. I did all this with a walker. My whole attitude changed. I was more cheerful, vivacious, and enthusiastic. I transformed from an introvert to a person who enjoyed socializing with the other residents. All the residents are so nice, more like family than friends. All of this I attribute to the Conservatory, and all that they offer.I have one example that proves what I have said. The other day, I had a neighbor from my previous home dine with me at the Conservatory. I hadn’t seen her for about a year. She took one look at me and couldn’t believe how I had transformed. Her exact words were “You are glowing, more youthful, and seem so very content and happy”.Thank you Conservatory for changing my life!

We have a chef who understands both the use of spices and preparing meals that are visually appealing. Vegetables are crisp, meats are prepared in a variety of ways, and options for carbohydrates are appealing and interesting. He is truly an asset to the Conservatory!

From the moment I walked into the Conservatory at Plano, I knew it was the right place for my mom. Their attention to detail is amazing. The facility is beautiful, immaculate, and feels very safe. The staff bends over backwards to help its residents with any need they might have.I'm not an easy person to please and I am extremely picky about food. This is not your typical bland, cafeteria type food. It is restaurant style, well seasoned, chef prepared, and truly delicious (try the salmon)! For those who use a walker, scooter or wheelchair, the staff is very helpful in helping each resident into their seat in the dining room and then serving them.Executive Director, Michael Collins is polished, professional, warm and kind. He runs a tight ship, and it shows in every aspect of the facility.Be sure to ask for Marjorie Fulmer for a personalized tour. She is the nicest, most thoughtful person you will ever meet, and she is so good at her job. I especially appreciated her invitation to have lunch with her in the dining room. We had so many questions and she was so patient and knowledgeable. She is the reason my mom is now a resident.Overall...BEST PLACE EVER!!!

The individuals who provided us with multiple tours really did a spectacular job. We are moving our mother-in-law here from Tennessee and we were very impressed by everything at the conservatory. We spoke with a number of residents as we toured the facility and all were extremely happy. The rooms are exceptionally good, the price is very very good particularly when you consider that virtually everything is included INCLUDING restaurant quality meals. We had lunch there and it was indeed restaurant quality food, not cafeteria food. The number of activities that they offer is far more than any person could participate in. There is something for everyone. They have a lot of committees to collect input from the residence for offsite excursions, movies, things to carry in the store, art and craft activities, groups to form, etc. The grounds are beautiful and the Bluebonnet walking trail is right there at the facility. One of the other things we particularly liked is that you can get from any apartment to the dining room any of the many activity areas without going outside. So when it is raining hard or freezing cold or extremely hot there is no need to go outside if you don’t want to. They have vans and cars that will also take you anywhere within a 10 mile radius. And they have regular van trips to common stores like Walgreens, CVS, Whole Foods, Kroger, etc. There is an on-site primary care physician, a healthcare option for personalized rehab or physical strength programs. We couldn’t find a single negative thing about The Conservatory.
