After my dad died, mom continued staying at their house for over a year - mostly sitting and not eating well. We had talked with her about an independent living facility, and had explored a few options, but nothing hit her as a place she could call home. The Conservatory came across her Facebook feed and we thought we’d check it out. Turned out she loved it so much that she signed the lease after Tricia gave us the tour. For her, she is socially engaged, active again and is eating well. The staff is friendly and helpful, and supportive of us kids when we visit or inquire. It is great peace of mind for everyone that she is secure, safe and they check on her if she is not active. Her only complaint is that she is more used to “down home” cooking and the choices are sometimes a little too gourmet for her taste. .

I’m Amanda Vigil with Traditions Senior Moves & Downsizing, and in my role, I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with The Conservatory in North Austin. The community is exceptional in every sense, and Tricia Lohbeck is a standout – she truly goes above and beyond to make every resident feel welcomed and comfortable from the very start of their journey. Tricia’s dedication to helping residents settle in is remarkable, ensuring each person feels right at home. The residents here are genuinely happy and well cared for, and it’s easy to see why. The Conservatory hosts engaging events that foster a true sense of community and camaraderie. The vibrant lifestyle and warm atmosphere make it a joy to work with The Conservatory, and I wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful community for anyone considering independent senior living in Austin.

I recently began the search for the best possible senior living community for my 80 year-old mom to move from out of state to the Austin area where we all (adult children and grandchildren) all reside. After looking at several facilities within 20 minutes of our home in Round Rock, The Conservatory could not be matched for the wide array of amenities, space, and outstanding customer service by sales director Tricia Lohbeck who warmly welcomed you from the moment you walk through the doors! No one could be more friendly, genuine, and helpful in your search. Tricia is clearly passionate about helping seniors live their best lives and making the transitional process as easy as possible on families as well. As an occupational therapist for 25 years, I was extra impressed with the Conservatory’s positive energy throughout my tour along with the talent and passion of the facility’s activities director “Lauren” who obviously goes the extra mile to curate such fun and creative programs. There is literally something for everyone here, extending beyond the BINGO! The courtyard is peaceful and serene while surrounded by green space with a gorgeous full-sized pool where residents can try out water aerobics and families can gather. The interior of the facility is both classic and updated with modern amenities and a daily resident call-in system not always offered at other independent living facilities. That’s extra peace of mind for loved ones like us who are super busy and working full-time. We are extra grateful to know there is such a wonderful place now waiting for Mom to begin her next chapter and call her “Texas home!” Thank you, Conservatory!

I couldn’t ask for a more professional, clean and beautiful place for my loved ones. Tricia Lohbeck, the Director of Sales walked me through the entire process of getting my family situated & comfortable. I know deep down inside and with all my heart my loved ones and I have made the right choice.

I had the pleasure of touring The Conservatory at North Austin today and was blown away. Tricia Lohbeck went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed & comfortable and was extremely empathetic to my situation. As soon as you walk in you feel the energy of the staff and residents. I cannot give enough praise to Tricia and the time and effort she took to be able to provide the things I need for my mom. The lengths they were willing to go was so appreciative and I was in tears at her kindness. The center was clean, busy with happy residents and had an abundance of activities and included amenities. It completely changed my view on what I had pictured in my head of a senior living facility. You will not be disappointed with the Conservatory at North Austin, I promise!

I write this as I am currently in the THICK of the HUGE transition of moving and downsizing my Mom to a senior community, and I honestly feel like God answered my prayers with the Conservatory and especially with the earth angel that is Tricia Lohbeck! I visited this community and within MINUTES I knew this was the place for my Mom! I mean when I say, the residents there are THRIVING and genuinely so happy! The facility is so beautiful and EVERYONE there (every staff included) is kind and engaged and active! Tricia is SO knowledgeable and has gone above and beyond to help me problem solve and truly hold my hand like she is my own family through this overwhelming process! She is a wealth of knowledge and has incredible resources! My Mom moves in a few weeks and she and I can't wait for her new beginning! Tricia has made us feel like family and my Mom hasn't even met Tricia or been to this location yet... but with multiple calls and FaceTimes with us both, my mom is "excited for her future there"! (her words not mine) :-)))If you are searching... SEARCH NO MORE... you have found your answered prayer for yourself or your loved ones to THRIVE in this very important and beautiful chapter of life!Also... there is always something going on to get involved with! When I spoke to some of the residents they all said they "feel like they live on a cruise ship"! (happy hour every day at 4 - and the happy hour lounge was FULL - sign me up!)This community and Tricia are magic!!! I am forever grateful!! I can't wait to make beautiful memories there with my Mom!!THANK YOU TRICIA!!! You really are an earth angel! :-)))

I was recently faced with the difficult decision to relocate my dad into a senior community. It’s been a challenging journey to say the least, on top of the fact that I made the final choice on behalf of my dad who lives in a different city. The minute I met Tricia Lohbeck I knew this was my place. She was so personable, understanding, and knowledgeable. She has gone above and beyond to accommodate my concerns. What really sold me was how well she connected with the residents and how genuinely happy they were during my visit! The residents and other staff members I met were welcoming. The facility is well cared for, had a wide variety of activities ranging from daily happy hour to an onsite fitness instructor, and wellness checks. Can’t wait for my dad to meet Tricia - the person that made it happen. I have no doubt I made the right decision.

My family and I selected Conservatory after touring multiple places. Our main point of contact, Tricia, was fantastic. She took the time to understand my father’s short, mid and long term needs and came up with what we independent living plus.He has his independence with a 2 bedroom apartment but all the care, services needed to help him with anything.

The facilities, service and overall atmosphere at The Conservatory at North Austin are second to none, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. My mother-in-law has been a very satisfied resident there for about six years, and based on her experience, I recently arranged for my own mother to become a resident there as well. I can say without a doubt that I will sleep well knowing that she is in the hands of The Convervatory’s caring staff, and I’m confident she will love the active and friendly community there. Thank you to the entire staff for their kindness, empathy and professionalism. Special thanks to Tricia Lohbeck for her knowledge, diligence, and thoughtful approach to her job. The personalized service she provided my family was invaluable, and her general assistance in getting my mother in and settled was a true blessing.

Tricia- their Sales Director was amazing to work with! She met with us on her days off to give us tours and introduced us to the residents. Her communication was constant and she made sure every question was answered in the process. She goes above and beyond and I’m so thankful to have found the Conservatory of North Austin for my mom and aunt!

We started working with the Conservatory & Tricia Lohbeck about a year ago. Our mom wasn't sure what she wanted to do so we spent a lot of time looking at other facilities. What really made a difference for us? The residents here are happy - they have smiles on their faces and always want to say hi. As we mulled things over Tricia was VERY patient and always available to answer some challenging questions or to show us the facilities (a couple times). What really stood out during our tours was how Tricia was able to bring out the best from everyone as we stopped to talk to folks. Compared to other facilities we talked to Tricia is head and shoulders above the rest and really knows her stuff. Overall, the Conservatory is a perfect place for our 80+ mom.

I've lived here for 7 years so you know I really like it at the Conservatory. Moving here was one of the best decision I've made. However, during the pandemic and Snowmagedon in Texas, I've been even more impressed. The staff kept us healthy during the pandemic. Activities were planned that we could participate in without endangering our health but keeping us active and involved. During the power shut down, the leadership made sure we had water and food. They went above and beyond what I would ever have guessed to keep us safe. This is my home. I'm surrounded by nice people, and the staff is wonderfully friendly and competent. I cannot recommend this too highly.

This was the first independent/assisted living community we visited, & my oldest brother, for whom we were shopping, liked it immediately. The facility is clean & well looked after, the one-bedroom apartment he will be moving into is quite large & well laid out, and there are many fun activities available for him to be a part of. Tricia Lohbeck (Director of Sales) has gone out of her way to make us feel welcome & comfortable, Joe Eckert (Executive Director) was very helpful & informative, & the entire staff and all the residents we met seemed happy, friendly, & attentive to his needs. He is looking forward to his move & all the new opportunities The Conservatory has to offer.

My dad is a soon to be resident of The Conservatory & I really wish I could give them 10 ⭐️s because that’s what they deserve. Tricia went above and beyond to help my dad throughout the leasing process and I just really do not have the words to adequately express my gratitude for all she has done.I researched all over Austin and surrounding areas before deciding the Conservatory was the best place to tour for my dad when I started this search. When you walk in, you can immediately tell that the residents are happy and that the staff genuinely cares about them. For any adult child that is trying to help navigate the retirement era for their parents in central Texas - I highly recommend The Conservatory.Call Tricia - she is the best in the business and she will take great care of you & your loved ones!

My niece found the Conservatory for her dad, my brother, and it's a gem! I like everything about it and I could see myself there at the right time in life.I want to give a personal shot out to Tricia who went so far above and beyond to help my brother, his daughter, and me it's ridiculous. She is both tenacious and caring and a one of a kind powerhouse of resource and I am grateful for her.

My wonderful experience with The Conservatory of Austin started with the first phone conversation with Tricia. She went out of her way to answer all my questions on the phone even sending pictures of the community until I was able to come tour in person. When I was able to visit the staff at the entrance was so welcoming. My tour with Tricia was great, showing me all the fabulous amenities specifically the ones my mother would enjoy the most. When it was time to sign the lease she & Joe were very patient with all my questions My mother and I very excited for our November move in date.

My dad just moved into the Conservatory and it is amazing. From the first time we toured the property we could tell the energy level and feel was different than any other place we toured. Tricia, who gave us our tour, knew everyone’s name that we passed and was so caring to all the residents needs. Everyone raves about the fitness coordinator, including my dad, and to our surprise he has done several fitness classes already. Something we have been trying to get him to do for years. He also loves the food and the variety of meals. This has been a perfect fit getting him more social and active in a friendly safe environment. We definitely made the right choice.Attached is the welcome gift Tricia left him at move in. It included his favorite hard to find beer.

So impressed with the Conservatory at North Austin. When searching for a home for my father we felt immediately comfortable on the property , and we were very impressed on how well maintained it was. Tricia was such a welcoming, informative, and caring host making sure we had all our questions answered, and making the move in smooth and personal. We are excited for Dad’s new adventure, and feel really great about our choice.

I have looked at several senior living communities before my interview with the Conservatory. My host was Tricia Lohbeck. Tricia is very personable, Knowledgeable, and thorough. She was very likable from the start. I was impressed with the tour. First of all, she seemed to know every resident that we passed. The Conservatory is very well kept and clean. Residents were very friendly and introduced themselves without as prompt. I was looking for a 2 bedroom and 2 bath apartment. Tricia said they had one available and took me right to it. The apartment is spacious and the layout is very functional. The list of amenities is quite long. The cost is reasonable, especially when you consider the high standard of the facility. The dinning facility is well laid out, and the meals are well planned and excellent. Tricia , the staff, and residents have made me feel welcomed. I highly recommend The Conservatory At North Austin. I am now a resident and call it home.

I've lived at the Conservatory at North Austin for over six years. The reason I chose to move here was to have more opportunities to be with other people. As I've aged, though, I find that all the other services provided have become more important to me and allow me to live independently. I learned to line dance (wear braces and use a cane due to disability) and it brings me such joy!

Overall good lifestyle. Better if so many walkers and wheelchairs were not admitted. If a resident is in good health when they come, but health snd physical abiiities decline AFTER becoming a resident it is acceptable. But moving in someone who already needs special care is not.

My mom has lived at The Conservatory at Wells Branch for 6 years and absolutely loves life there. In fact, I'm having trouble enticing her to move closer to me because no other facility measures up to the high standard set by the Conservatory in Austin. Giving up your house does NOT mean giving up your independence and my mother's lifestyle is proof positive. She has made so many friends, enjoys the trips & meeting for lunch everyday with her close friends. The food is excellent and, of course, she is eating a much healthier, balanced diet than when she was living alone. Leaving behind the worries and expense of maintaining her own home has allowed her to more fully enjoy her life and leisure time. I am happy because she is so happy!
