Riva Row Boat House
Located in The Woodlands, Texas, the Riva Row Boat House has swan paddle boats, pedal kayaks, water bikes, elliptical boards, stand-up paddleboards, and one- or two-person kayaks available for your enjoyment. It’s recommended you call for reservations if you’re going in a large group.
North Shore Park
Dogs are allowed at North Shore Park. There is private parking and restroom facilities available. The atmosphere is perfect for kids, as there’s a track, waterway, lake, and playground to enjoy. So you can bring your grandchildren. Why not rent a kayak or canoe for some real fun.
The Woodlands Waterway
Travel down the Woodlands Waterway to Lake Robbins and back again in one of the swan boats for an enjoyable, relaxing day. This is the perfect place for friends to gather for drinks, dinner, or for those who like to walk and/or jog. Families, couples, and singles can all enjoy themselves immensely in this nature-filled area. Dogs are allowed, it’s great for kids, and there’s lots of bike parking.
Windvale Park
Abundant greenery, lots of shade trees, a pool, fenced-in tennis courts, basketball courts, picnic areas, running and biking trails, and, of course, restrooms are available here. Some people just get creeped out at the thought of swimming in a lake where there are plants, fish, etc. The pool here is clean and, though hours may presently vary, is usually open on Sundays from 1 to 6 PM, and Mondays through Saturdays from 10 AM to 8 PM. Every Tuesday, however, it’s closed for maintenance.
