Hold onto the chair with your left hand. Next, bend your right knee and grab your ankle. Gently pull your foot towards your bottom. Hold this pose for ten to thirty seconds, then let go of your leg and repeat this stretch with the other leg.
Hamstring Stretch
This exercise will target your lower back and legs. It will decrease stiffness and keep your back loose.
To start the stretch, sit on the ground. Then extend one of your legs out. Lean forward slowly and reach for your ankle. Hold this position for up to thirty seconds and then release your leg and repeat with the other side.
Overhead Side Stretch
This stretch helps to loosen your back, abdomen and shoulders.
Start this stretch by standing with your feet apart. Raise your left arm over your head and lean towards the side. Hold this position for thirty seconds then return to the center. Repeat the same stretch with your right arm. This is a great stretch to do while sitting down.
